Reflecting on the world as it currently is with ‘wars and rumors of wars’ in every direction, I lean into the gentle nature that also resides in humanity.
==========================Clothed in the costumes of gentle forest creatures, these ;ghosts of the past’ are a connection to a place of peace.
And the practical stuff - I love to recycle and repurpose - make use of the things that humans or nature discard. These paintings are created on canvas board and framed with rescued hardwood screen-printing frames that were destined to be replaced with aluminum and sent to landfill.
